We keep this deliberately small. The only personal information we ask for through this website is what you type into our booking and quote enquiry form:
If you accept cookies, we also collect usage information through Google Analytics, such as which pages you visited, roughly where in the country you are, and what kind of device you used. This is used in aggregate to improve the site. If you decline, none of this is collected.
We use these details for one thing: to get back to you about your enquiry with a quote and available dates. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services.
We never sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes.
When you enquire, you can tick a box to hear from us about offers, seasonal tips and new services. It is not ticked by default and you do not have to tick it. We will answer your enquiry either way.
If you are already a customer, we may occasionally email you about services similar to the one we did for you. UK law allows this, and every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Use it and we will stop, no questions asked.
We never pass your email to anyone else to market to you.
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use the site: which pages get read, which services people look at, and where visitors come from. This is how we know whether the website is doing its job.
These set cookies, so nothing loads until you choose. When you first arrive, analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default and stay off unless you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press Decline, or ignore it, they stay off.
You can change your mind at any time using the button at the bottom of this page, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.
Videos are handled separately and more privately: they load as still images until you click one. Nothing is requested from YouTube until that point, and we use youtube-nocookie.com, which sets no tracking cookies unless you actually play the video. Once you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
We use a small number of service providers to run the website, receive enquiries and understand how the site is used. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
Enquiries reach us by email and are recorded in our customer system so we have a record of what was discussed and quoted. We keep them while there is a reasonable prospect of doing work for you, and for a period afterwards for our business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask and we will remove it from both.
